Sam Hewitt is an M.Arch student at the University of Oregon with a background in philosophy and immersive design. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where he specialized in the history of technology and ethics. Sam is a co-author of Remix in the Age of AI in the Routledge Companion to Remix Studies and was part of the development team for The In Between, a project shortlisted for a Yugo-Bafta Award in 2023. He is using his academic background and growing architectural skills to explore the role of design and emerging technologies on society, with a focus on the philosophical and ethical questions of how design can shape and impact our future.
